Please note that this database is dynamic; we are constantly updating course equivalency
data. While this data is as accurate and current as possible, the University retains
the right to re-inspect any evaluation for which new information comes to light during a
student's first semester on campus. Some evaluations are noted as
term-sensitive, and some have footnotes that restrict or expand the equivalency. Please
review all data carefully, and contact us if you have particular questions. You may wish to
review our FAQ page first.
PLEASE NOTE: Certain courses may not yet appear in our database. This does not mean they will not transfer; only that they have not been presented for evaluation yet. If you would like an evaluation of any course(s) not appearing yet here, simply send us a complete catalog description to tccinfo@deans.umd.edu. We will work with our departmental evaluators and, in most cases, post new courses to the web within a week. There are two ways to search our Transfer Credit Equivalency Database at College Park. To access the complete list of evaluated courses from a particular institution (particularly useful for advisors and current UMCP students), click below.
You may also search the database, one course at a time, by typing in specific course IDs to build a list of only the classes you're interested in. This will allow you to create a printable "unofficial preliminary evaluation" sheet with just your classes; click below.
