Data in this field will be in 6-digit format. The first four digits indicate the year; the last two indicate the month.
Take the following two courses (MTH1110 & MTH1120) as an example:

Beginning with students taking the course Fall 1991 and after though, the evaluation of this course changes to "general Fundamental Mathematics" (a broad general education course at UMCP). Notice how there is no "Ending" term for the 199108 evaluation though? This means that the evaluation is still "active" through the present time.
MTH1120 is almost identical except there was one additional change in its course content over the last several years-- one change in Fall 1991 and another in Fall 1996.
