Notes for A.A./A.S.:
Humanities: One 3-credit course must be selected from among eligible courses in speech and one additional 3-credit course from among eligible courses in art, music, theatre, philosophy, literature, or foreign language.
Social Sciences: Two 3-credit courses from two different disciplines.
Science: Must include at least one laboratory course.
Computer Literacy: CIS 101 or exemption. Not required for Computer Science, Engineering, or Nursing programs.
Cultural Diversity: One 3-credit course from among eligible courses in the humanities or social sciences that meet this requirement (see current PGCC catalog).

*Students following an A.A.S. program should contact an academic advisor at Prince George's Community College to get more detailed information about general education requirements.
