The general education requirements listed below were obtained from the most recent undergraduate catalog of the following institution; they are subject to change. Each associate degree program selects its general education core from an approved list of courses (see Charles County Community College Catalog, p. 19). A.A. and A.S. degrees require a maximum of 34 credits of general education; the A.A.S. requires a maximum of 20 general education credits. The distribution of these courses is outlined in the specific degree requirements for individual programs in the Program Descriptions section of the catalog.
