Each associate degree program selects its general education core from an approved list of courses (see Charles County Community College Catalog, p. 19). A.A. and A.S. degrees require a maximum of 34 credits of general education; the A.A.S. requires a maximum of 20 general education credits. The distribution of these courses is outlined in the specific degree requirements for individual programs in the Program Descriptions section of the catalog.
